I Worked My Way into a Good Mood
Getting out of the office
and away from what was bothering me
(an annoying co-worker).
I went for a walk/break
and began listing everything that I like about my job and life.
* A/C at work and home
* Sweet love from my wife
* Golf
* Being able to eat whenever I want
* Sam – cool as hell co-worker
* My shower head – great water pressure
* I have shrimp in the freezer waiting to be cooked tonight
* Laughing at the feeling of me fingering my belly button
* Flowers
* Big fatty ants
* Vanilla ice cream
* My favorite jeans
* Extra virgin olive oil and bread
* The buzz of a mosquito in my ear
* My wife’s laughter
* My neighbor’s pool
About halfway into my walk my bad mood lifted.
It took some work,
but I got my bad mood
turned around
and now I’m back to enjoying life.
