Non-stop Internal Chatter
My mind
won’t stop chattering.
It talks about
the cut on my finger,
the hair on my hand,
co-worker’s bad jokes,
my bad back,
my wife,
yesterday’s football game,
my socks that itch my feet,
and the chatter goes on.
I’ve finally learned to tune in and out
depending on my mood.
I’m learning to not
let it affect my day.
I can let my brain chatter,
but not pay attention to it.
This is not my goal.
My goal is to reduce that chatter
to almost nothing.
A quiet mind is a calm mind.
A calm mind creates an enjoyable body.
But for now I need to do
something
so I avoid listening to
my chattering mind
so I can
relax when I need to.

anyways,nice blog.
