Chew Food Slowly

When I chew food slowly I notice that it’s easier to digest my food. I just did some research and found out that our saliva has enzymes that help break down the food that we eat, so it makes it easier on the stomach. I also believe the better we chew our food the more nutrients we will be able to extract from it.

The Europeans have it right when they say to take our time and enjoy our food. I’ve tried it and it reduces upset stomach from certain foods.

I’ve been chewing my food extra slowly for the past week and I have:
1.    A lot more energy
2.    Less stomach irritation
3.    A more enjoyable time during my meal
4.    Tasted more depth in my food
5.    Eaten healthier food because processed food doesn’t taste as good

Give it a try. Chew your food slowly, grinding it all up so that your body has an easier time digesting it. Let me know if you found any other benefits to chewing your food slowly. I would love to hear other stories.
